‘15 til infinity

Born in a dorm, our story begins in 2015. Our founder, JD’s, love for vintage fashion sewed the first stitch of the tight-knit community we are today. Stuck with a knockoff luxury bag he couldn’t flip, he did what anybody would do: he got creative — cutting it up to create custom keychains and necklaces. A replica became a restart, and a jewelry brand was born.

There’s nothing like the thrill of thrifting a rare piece. A personal treasure with a unique story, capable of wiping out hella trips home empty-handed. We’ve always wanted to capture that feeling in everything we make — crafting quality jewelry that’s accessible and affordable but no less unique. Our small team has never lost its DIY spirit, and we’ve kept Thryfty independently owned to this day.

Forever the underdog and eternally a work-in-progress, quick to chirp “What up, doe?” and when we say “It’s on the floor,” we’re not talking about what’s beneath our feet. We’re roses that grew from concrete, and as we expand, we’ve planned educational programs and workshops to inspire the next generation of creatives out of the D.

We see beauty in making things last. That’s why every piece we make starts with 100% recycled stainless steel, the most recycled metal on the planet. We design everything in-house at the No Signal Studio, our HQ in downtown Detroit, minimizing our impact on the environment to maximize our impact on the future.
